We are delighted to announce that we have rolled out an update for our after school booking system that includes extended functionality to help school and clubs manage their data protection responsibilities for the new laws in May (GDPR), as well as support for Tax-Free Childcare.
General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) update
The GDPR update enables clubs and schools to manage and publish privacy statements, as well as consent (where required) from parents registered on their booking system website. It also provides a management tool for recording and maintaining their data documentation, required under GRPR.
The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) have published a Data protection self assessment (data controllers) that is an excellent starting point for clubs and schools to access their data protection responsibilities and takes you through the steps you need to complete by the end of May.
Tax-Free Childcare (TFC)
CoB now supports TFC, enabling parents to pay via their TFC on-line accounts.
